Improtaku!
Do you like improvisation matches and Japanese pop culture? Then stay tuned.
2 teams between 2-4 players will face each other in improv matches around geeky themes from well-known media. Before each round, the MC will reveal the theme, the number of participants in each team, the duration of each improv and the category. Teams will also have 30 seconds to brainstorm ideas before performing. The public can vote for their favourite skit at the end of each round. Cardboard pieces will be given in time.
The MC will gladly answer any questions or concerns if you are feeling lost. Our rules are a simplified version of the LNI. There are no points or penalties, teams will change over time, depending on crowd participation. Everyone is welcome whether you are experimenting or not or here to enjoy the show.
We look forward to your participation, especially some brave souls to go on stage. Inscriptions will take place just before the actual event.
Model Expo
This year, there will be a lot of attractions prepared for participants to learn about plastic models and figurines, such as model-building workshops, mini-events, new product showcases and our yearly competition. Experience the fun and diverse world of plastic models!

Nadeshiko Club
The Nadeshiko Club is an informal coalition of experienced panellists dedicated to the diffusion of quality content, mainly in French, at the various conventions of the province of Quebec. We specialize in anime and Japanese popular culture, but we also cover geek culture in general. Our members have been doing panels at Otakuthon for 10 years now.
Yaoithon
Yaoithon is a subdivision of Otakuthon created in 2009 to showcase content relating to yaoi (also known as boys’ love). Our events are now a space for fans to learn, discuss, and be entertained by queer content spanning multiple genres, such as yaoi, slash, danmei, and so much more!
Due to the increasing popularity of yuri each and every year, we have created this subdivision in 2010 to better meet the needs of the yuri community. Encompassing any and all yuri, Yurithon will be covering girls' love and femmeslash-related material as well as its associated fandoms.
