Bag Check

To improve service and efficiency, the Bag Check is operated by the Palais des congrès de Montréal.

As in 2025, the Bag check is located on the metro level, near the entrance to OASIS immersion.

For the safety and comfort of all participants, backpacks are not permitted inside VOID at all times and in the Dance Hall after 20:00. 

Hours of Operation

Friday: 10:00 - 1:30 (Saturday)
Saturday: 10:00 - 1:30 (Sunday)
Sunday: 10:00 - 20:00

Rate

$5 per item per day.

• Each bag may be accessed up to twice (2) per day at no charge.

• On the third access, there will be an additional $5 fee to check the bag back in.

• Bags must be picked up before the Bag Check closes. Any bag left after closing will be subject to a $5 fee on the following day.

Guidelines

• Loose items must be stored inside a bag, which will count as one consigned item.

• Large items such as props may be checked into the Bag Check. Props must be approved by Props Check first.

• Items deemed dangerous, such as blades without sheaths, or sharp or pointy items, will not be accepted.

• The Palais des congrès de Montréal and the Otakuthon Cultural Society is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

• The Palais des congrès de Montréal reserves the right to refuse any bag or item at all times.
