Music Producer DJRemixer

Since 1993, he has been active as a DJ and music producer, building a long-standing career across club music, mainstream pop, and media productions.

He has contributed to major compilation series such as Cyber TRANCE and HOUSE NATION (both avex trax), as well as remixes and arrangements for artists including Ayumi Hamasaki and AAA. His work also includes official Disney remixes, music production for Hello Kitty and Maki Goto, arrangements for Fuji TV’s SMAP×SMAP live segment, and music production and narration for radio commercials.


GAME MUSIC / COMMERCIAL WORK

He is widely recognized in the video game music scene for his extensive contributions to KONAMI’s beatmania series.

Under the alias Y&Co., he has released two full-length albums. His signature track “DAISUKE” continues to gain attention more than a decade after its release, becoming a long-running internet and social media favorite.

His production work also extends to sound design for synthesizers by major Japanese instrument manufacturers, contributing original tones and phrase content for commercial hardware.

He has also created music for sports entertainment, including J.League, B.League, professional boxing, and pro wrestling events, as well as contributing to the music arrangement for the Closing Ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.


DJ CAREER

He began his DJ career at Yokohama MAHARAJA, later becoming a resident DJ for the velfarre Cyber TRANCE event from 2001 to 2006.

Since then, he has performed across Japan and internationally, including the United Kingdom, United States, and Australia, appearing at major festivals such as Dance Valley (Netherlands) and SUMMER SONIC (Japan).

Known for a solid yet highly versatile DJ style, he has earned long-standing support through club performances and radio programs such as FM Yokohama.


REMO-CON PROJECT

As REMO-CON, he released his debut single G-SIGH in 2004, which was licensed in Germany and became a breakthrough success.

His 2007 release Atavism received a 5-star review from DJ Mag in Europe. The same year, COLD FRONT was licensed by the UK-based label Anjunabeats.

He has also produced an official remix for Pirates of the Caribbean, released his debut album a life with remote controllers (2009) followed by a national tour, and his second album rhetoric (number 13 on the Oricon chart).

His 10th anniversary compilation DECADE 05-15 further established his career, while Flowered EP, released on his label rtrax, reached number 2 on the Beatport overall chart. His digital album Beyond The Harder Styles also reached number 1 on the iTunes Dance Album Chart.


RECENT ACTIVITY

In recent years, he has also been active under his real name, Tetsuya Tamura, focusing on House, Techno, and Disco-oriented productions and DJ performances, continuing to evolve his sound in alignment with contemporary club culture.
