
Ray Chase is well known for his widely varied performances across a vast array of anime and video games. From his dual role as hero and villain Sukuna and Choso in Jujutsu Kaisen, to the flashy Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer, protagonist Noctis in Final Fantasy XV, to high judge Neuvillette in Genshin Impact, his range is extensive.
Ray has performed in many beloved game franchises, including the classic fighter Guile from Street Fighter, Nier from NieR: Replicant, Eve from NieR: Automata, Alphen from Tales of Arise, Roy, Alfonse, Gaius and Fernand from Fire Emblem as well as appearances in Super Smash Brothers. He also voices the Master of Masters from Kingdom Hearts and perhaps his most celebrated role as the Subway Announcer in Persona 5. He joined the Marvel Universe as Cyclops in the X-Men ‘97 animated series.
Ray also led the indie game Date Everything! as lead designer and writer, producer, narrative designer, and, most importantly, voiced Wallace, also known as the Wall.
Other roles include Corazon in One Piece, Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Fyodor Dostoyevsky in Bungo Stray Dogs, Karamatsu from Osomatsu-san, Artorius from Tales of Berseria, Almond Cookie from Cookie Run: Kingdom, and Mitsurugi from Soul Calibur VI. He has also appeared in Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, The Last of Us Part II, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Borderlands 3, and many more.
He has even contributed to cinematic projects, such as voicing the villain Gabriel in Malignant, directed by James Wan, and appearing onscreen in a fun cameo in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Oscar-nominated Licorice Pizza.
Additional anime roles include Gendo Ikari in Neon Genesis: Evangelion, Roswaal in Re:Zero, Keith Flick in B: The Beginning, Puri Puri Prisoner in One Punch Man, Yuu Otosaka in Charlotte, Howzer in Seven Deadly Sins. He has appeared in Attack on Titans, Your Name, My Hero Academia, Berserk, Mob Psycho 100, Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, Blue Exorcist, Fairy Tail, and many others!
