Kohei Tokuoka, a renown animation director, started his career at SUNRISE Studios. Beginning in 2014, he focused primarily on projects at studio BONES, where he became a mainstay of the Bungo Stray Dogs series. Over the years, he has taken on key production roles across numerous projects, serving as an animation director for Josee, the Tiger and the Fish and chief animation director for SK8 the Infinity. Following his work on The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2 in 2023, he joined Studio Kafka. He is also a prominent character designer, with major credits including The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity and MARRIAGETOXIN.
