Killjoy is an anime cover band specializing in Japanese rock and pop music featured in popular anime series. With a repertoire spanning iconic titles such as Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, Your Name, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, the band delivers high-energy performances that celebrate the music behind some of anime’s most beloved stories.
Killjoy has performed at major anime and pop culture events across Ontario and Québec, including G-Anime and Anime Ottawa, and has had the privilege of serving as a headlining act at Yeti Con 2026. The band is also the house band for Kawaii After Dark, Ottawa’s anime nightclub experience. Blending musicianship, stage presence, and a deep passion for anime culture, Killjoy creates an engaging live experience that resonates with dedicated fans and newcomers alike.
