Jean-François Laliberté

Author, comic book writer, father, engineer and now mangaka, Jean-François is great at time management between these different roles. His stories are inspired by a great variety of literary genres, as recipient of the Rivière Ouelle detective short story award by the Société du roman policier de Saint-Pacôme in 2012. His first professional comic book, U-Merlin – Les épreuves de l’écuyer, has also earned him the Réal-Fillion prize at the 2019 edition of the Bédéis Causa awards. Volume 3 of his manga, Les Élus Eljun, also had its turn being crowned best comic book at the 2025 Aurora-Boréal awards!
