Centimillimental

Centimillimental is the solo project of Atsushi, a multi-talented singer-songwriter, composer, and producer who personally handles all aspects of his music, from vocals and piano to guitar and programming.

He made his major debut in September 2019 with the single “Kizuato,” chosen as the opening theme for the acclaimed TV anime Given. Despite being a newcomer, the song quickly drew international attention, surpassing 50 million streams worldwide.

Since then, Centimillimental has contributed music to a wide range of anime, films, and dramas, including Backflip!! (TV anime), Hitomonchaku Nara Yorokonde! (Jdrama), and the Japanese-dubbed version of Scumbag System. His work demonstrates a unique ability to craft emotionally resonant songs that enhance the stories they accompany.

In addition to his anime work, Atsushi writes and produces music for other artists, highlighting his versatility as a songwriter. Notably, the in-anime song “Fuyu no Hanashi” performed by the fictional band within Given, has surpassed 160 million streams worldwide, a testament to his broad appeal and compositional skill.

With a blend of heartfelt storytelling, sophisticated arrangements, and cross-media success, Centimillimental stands out as both a rising solo artist and a sought-after composer in Japan’s contemporary music scene.
