Kyle McCarley

guest

Kyle McCarley grew up (but not really) in Kansas and moved to Los Angeles at age 18 to study acting. After getting hooked on playing World of Warcraft with his buddies, he co-wrote, co-directed, and voiced several characters in a fan-made online radio play loosely set in that universe. Once he finished his Theatre degree at the University of Southern California, he decided to further pursue that passion in the form of a career in voice acting. Kyle can now be heard in anime, video games, cartoons, audiobooks, live action dubs, TV and radio commercials, industrial ads, and even a talking toy plunger.

Notable anime credits include Mikazuki Augus in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama in Mob Psycho 100, Koku in B: The Beginning, Ryo in Devilman Crybaby, Joe Shimamura, a.k.a. 009, in Cyborg 009: Call of Justice, Aoba Kuronuma in Durarara!!x2, Shinji Matou in Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, Ryota Watari in Your Lie in April, Helbram in Seven Deadly Sins, Claudia Hodgins in Violet Evergarden, John Steinbeck in Bungo Stray Dogs, Iruka Umino in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Gran in Granblue Fantasy: The Animation, Kirii in Blame!, Joichiro Nishi in Gantz: O, Silas Norman in The Asterisk War, and Ikuya Ogura in Ajin: Demi-Human.

Patrick Seitz

guest

Known primarily for his work as the guy who yells out “Super Electromagnetic Shrapnel Cannon!” in Code Geass, Patrick Seitz’s body of other, lesser work stretches back to the year 2000. When he’s not busy playing Love Live: School Idol Festival, Patrick Seitz gets paid to voice guys who A) yell a lot, B) wear an eye-patch, C) have an accent, or D) sport a cool haircut.

His anime credits include Gamagoori in Kill la Kill; Franky in One Piece; Laxus in Fairy Tail; Keith in Attack on Titan; Griamore in Seven Deadly Sins; Motochika in Sengoku Basara; Senji in Deadman Wonderland; Isshin and Kenpachi in Bleach; DIO in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure; Germany in Hetalia; Agni in Black Butler; Simon in Durarara; Kunzite in Sailor Moon; Sky High in Tiger & Bunny; Luke Valentine in Hellsing and Hellsing: Ultimate; JP in Redline, Grimmer in Monster; the Penguin Emperor in Daimadaler; Agil in Sword Art Online; and Nekozawa in Ouran High School Host Club.

On the video game side of the equation, Patrick’s credits include Ragna in the BlazBlue series; Garrosh Hellscream and Arthas Menethil in World of Warcraft; Scorpion in the last few Mortal Kombat games; Artanis in StarCraft II; Kog’Maw, Lucian, and Renekton in League of Legends; Kana Rua in Pillars of Eternity, Basilio in Fire Emblem: Awakening; Samson in Skullgirls; Chopin in Eternal Sonata; Doug in Xenoblade Chronicles X; Hades and Chaac in SMITE; Hugo in Ultra Street Fighter IV; Heldalf in Tales of Zestiria; and create-a-character voices in Dragon Ball Xenoverse and The Sims 4.

He was also the dream-sequence pizza-delivery bear in Inside Out, as well as other additional voices.

Seitz also does script-adaptation and ADR directing—most recently for the English dubs of Aggretsuko and Your Lie in April. If you’ve seen shows like Steins;Gate, Romeo X Juliet, Space Dandy, Princess Jellyfish, or Deadman Wonderland, he dun writ some of them words—or, in the case of Summer Wars and Wolf Children, *all* of them words! His directing credits include State of Decay, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Citizens of Earth, Rune Factory 4, Conception 2, Shin Megami Tensei, Devil Survivor 2, Record Breaker (breathe!), Monster, Girls Bravo, and BlazBlue: Alter Memory.
