Cosplay Meet-up

Rules

Otakuthon does not organize cosplay meetups and is not responsible for them. For all questions, please contact the organizers.
One person (could be even two or three people) is responsible for their cosplay group.
Gatherings last no more than one hour (60 minutes). We recommend 45 minutes for taking photos, with 5 to 10 minutes at the beginning to gather as many cosplayers and photographers as possible, and then leave the gathering place 5 minutes before the end of your hour to make way for the next group.
It is forbidden to hold a participant or make requests that could jeopardize the safety of others for a photo (example: running up the stairs).
Unwarranted advances or physical contact with people are NOT tolerated, and any harassment should be reported to staff members or security.
If a group causes traffic problems, staff members have the right to cancel the meet-up and ask you to move.
If a participant wishes to report an issue that occurred during a cosplay meetup, they can write to us at cosplaymeetups@otakustaff.net after Otakuthon or report to a staff member for immediate assistance.
Organizers who violate the rules of the meetup may be denied the right to reschedule cosplay meetups at future Otakuthon editions.

How do I register as an organizer? It's easy!

From June 7 to June 25, 2025, reserve your spot for a cosplay gathering during Otakuthon by completing our online registration form.
You will then receive an email between June 26 and June 28, 2025, confirming your spot. This email will come from cosplaymeetups@otakustaff.net.
Once the final schedule is available, it will be displayed below or on the Guidebook app. (It is not available yet.)
