Simon Lam has been building models since his teens, focusing on figures, science fiction and Gunpla. He made his competitive debut as a Gunpla modeller in 2017, when he participated in the Gunpla Builder’s World Cup (GBWC) as the Canadian representative. In 2023, Simon became the first North American to win the coveted GBWC World Champion title. His winning build, Bond from Above, is still revered as a masterpiece by modellers around the world.
