Masayoshi Iimori

Born in 1996, Masayoshi Iimori is a producer and DJ based in Tokyo. In January 2015, his debut EP, Break It, released on Trekkie Trax, quickly established him as one of Japan’s most promising electronic music producers.

Since the beginning of his career, his productions have been supported by numerous international DJs, including Skrillex, Diplo, Major Lazer, Baauer, RL Grime, Porter Robinson, Ryan Hemsworth, Mr. Oizo, Anna Lunoe, Giraffage, UZ, Ookay, Mija and Mr. Carmack. He was featured in Nest HQ’s Artist Spotlight series with a mini-mix, and also released the single “Whirlwind” on the same platform. In 2015, he performed at ULTRA JAPAN alongside Skrillex, Carnage, and Mija, and released the original tracks “Kickin' Up” and “Mango Beat (with Rawtek)” through Good Enuff, a sub-label of Mad Decent.

In January 2018, Masayoshi released the Hardcore EP, featuring three tracks that received strong support from A-Trak, the head of the label. His one-hour mix was broadcast on Diplo and Friends on BBC Radio 1. In February of the same year, his remix of “Labbits Cage” by Juyen Sebulba was released via Yellow Claw’s label, Barang Family. In September, he dropped the single “Flow” via Premiere Classe, DJ Snake’s imprint. 

After making waves in 2021 with “In My Soul” and “Losing Control” under Monstercat, Masayoshi followed up in 2022 with “CTS”, released on RL Grime’s label, Sable Valley.
